Using the search criteria you have specified, a double search is carried out by the system: on metadata and on data. The search on metadata provides datasets and online accesses to them. The search on data provides selected features. If any of the two searches return results, the dataset is displayed in the list of results.

Some elements are included in the weighted sum to obtain the final relevance score, but they usually have influence if you have not entered a search text:

Dataset that have been searched inside
The system searches inside some dataset, providing subsets of records in a database, documents in a document repository or faults in a fault database.The number of features selected for a dataset is shown in a green box:
Once you click on the green button, a viewer is opened to display the selected features on a map (if they have a spatial component) and their main attribute values in a table.
When a dataset is not found in the metadata-based search but, with the same search criteria, features are found inside the dataset, then the dataset will be displayed in the results list.
When a search text is typed and a dataset is found in the metadata-based search, but the search on data returns no features, the system shows 0 features and warning because the system allows you to open features that could be valid for the search in the selected spatial boundary.
